REGATTA is excited to announce a one-off Pizzini Wine Dinner, hosted by 2016 Winemaker of the Year finalist, Joel Pizzini. 

The Pizzini vineyard, located in King Valley, dates back to 1978 when Tobacco farming was in decline. The Pizzini’s made the bold decision to switch to grapes, but it wasn’t until 1994 that their first bottling was released. 

The Pizzini family, led by patriarch Fred Pizzini, are at the forefront of Italian grape varieties in Australia, having accelerated innovation due to their longstanding work with grape clones and fruit quality. Fred & Joel’s focus on the finetuning of viticulture has been instrumental in the rise of the Pizzini wines’ profile. 

With Joel taking over from his father, his main focus is to continue to increase the quality of wine Pizzini is producing, “The next phase is looking at the best soil for each variety.  We’ve always been focused on clones and the varieties most suited to where we grow grapes, but we can finetune things further”. 

During dinner, Joel, will take you on a culinary journey with 5 wines & 5 courses, paired expertly by REGATTA’S Executive Chef, Logan Campbell. 

This exclusive dinner costs $129 per person for five courses & five paired wines. 

Bookings are essential as availability is limited.   


We request that you provide your credit card details as a guarantee, your card will be charge 14 days prior to the event. If you fail to show up, numbers decrease or cancel without at least 14 days’ notice, a no-show fee to the value of $129 per person will be charged.

Dietary restrictions:
As this is a special event with a menu curated to pair with each beverage, we are unable to accommodate any dietary requests for our dinners. Please contact the venue directly if you wish to dine in the main restaurant where we can cater for most dietary requests.
